When shopping on, one or more delivery options will be displayed in the shopping basket. The delivery options may show the priority of despatch, expected method of delivery and estimated delivery time from receipt of your order.

Delivery times

All delivery times quoted are estimates based on normal service by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Delivery times start from the (working) day that we receive your order. A delivery time of one day would be the day after we receive your order.

Delays to despatch

If we become aware that your order will be delayed we will contact you to let you know an expected time of delivery. You have the right to cancel your order prior to despatch.

Delivery by post and couriers

Orders will be despatched via Royal Mail (post), UK Mail, DHL or other carrier that we deem suitable.

When we offer delivery by post, our website has calculated that it is possible to deliver your order by post; however, sometimes we may find that this is not possible or may choose to deliver by courier instead.

When we indicate delivery by a specific courier we may change the courier and service used to another service of equivalent speed.

Despatch confirmation

We aim to confirm despatch and the actual method of delivery used at the time of despatch or shortly afterwards.

Orders over £300

We offer a ‘standard’ service for all orders over £300. This doesn’t give an expected delivery time in order to avoid us missing the delivery time in the case of unexpected stock shortages or ‘unusual’ orders. On receipt of your order, we will contact you if we believe your order will take more than 3 working days to despatch. If you want your order quickly, please contact us and we’ll check what options are available.

United Kingdom remote areas and Overseas Territories

If your delivery address is in the Scottish Highlands or Islands, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland or Scilly Isles, please choose the relevant delivery ‘country’ to see relevant delivery options.

In these areas and other remote area of the United Kingdom delivery times may be extended, an alternative delivery method used and, where items cannot be sent by Royal Mail Post additional charges may apply. Any additional charges will be notified to you and you will have the option to cancel your order.

International remote areas

If your delivery address is in a remote area of your delivery country, delivery times may be extended, an alternative delivery method used and, where the courier makes additional charges for delivering to your delivery address we may add these charges. Any additional charges will be notified to you and you will have the option to cancel your order.

Customs duties and charges

Shipments sent outside the United Kingdom are sold exclusive of VAT or sales tax and may be subject to import duties, taxes and administration fees, which may be levied once a shipment reaches your country.

Please note: It is a legal requirement that we declare the full value of the goods (including shipping charges) on all packages destined outside the United Kingdom. We cannot inaccurately describe the contents, claim a lower value or mark as a gift.

Please be advised that you may need to pay for import/custom taxes either before or after the order has been delivered to you. These charges are solely dependent on your local customs office and delivery agent and we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

Charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. We are unable to reimburse any costs incurred. We would kindly suggest contacting your local customs office for more information and advice.
