The skeletal model type of the Orbit & Minit systems is particularly suitable to show the structure of crystals and lattices, being uniquely transparent in depth.
 
Orbit Colourwave models
Robust, low cost easy-to build kits and assembled models with 60 - 125 atoms each. The coloured bonds distinguish between covalent, ionic, Van der Waals and hydrogen bonding and make excellent teaching and display models.
 
Minit and Orbit Proview models
Models of up to 100 unit cells (170 - 1500 atoms). Features such as the slip planes and axes of symmetry of metals are fully revealed. Full instructions are provided and a discussion card on the nature of the bonding, crystal structure
