Even if you are not ordering on the website, you can still use it to create and save a basket of products and check the prices, quantity discounts and delivery costs in an on-line account. You can then print the basket for your records or to it send to us with your payment and delivery details.

On-line accounts:
Setting up an on-line account will enable you to make and store lists of favourite items. You can see previous orders and set up preferences to make the website work better for you.

The cost of delivery is shown in your shopping basket. This depends on the selected currency and chosen country as well as the products purchased.

Time:
If your order is urgent or required by a specific date please put a comment into the comments box (as part of the check-out process) describing your delivery requirements. This will be read before your order is processed. Alternatively, please contact us.

Standard delivery is by the most economical method and delivery from the time of order for stocked products is usually:

Express delivery by First Class post or Courier (e.g. Fedex or UPS):
You may request express delivery. The extra cost of the service will be added and we may contact you to confirm the amount to be added before processing your order.

For some orders or countries, we may deem it necessary to use a courier so that we can track the parcel. In this case, the extra price (over the standard charge) will be quoted before confirming the order.

Delivery method:
Standard delivery would typically be by one of the following depending on the product.
UK: Second class post, or land carrier (orders over approx. 2kg in weight).
Overseas: Air-mail, small packet, parcel post or land carrier.

Land carrier delivery is Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and requires a signature on delivery unless other instructions are given. If you think your order may weigh over 2kg and there might not be anyone present to sign for the parcel, it can help us to know in advance to avoid additional charges or delays.

Credit / Debit Cards:
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Delta and Maestro. We check the order to ensure that we can meet your requirements including any specified in the order comments field before taking full payment for the goods. If we cannot meet your requirements we will contact you as soon as possible. Please ensure that all your contact details are correct to enable us to do this.

Cheques or Postal orders:
We accept cheques and postal orders drawn on a UK Bank. However all cheques must clear the bank before the order will be processed. This will add a minimum of six working days to your delivery date.

Invoicing:
We can invoice you if you are a government office, registered company, university or school. Unless you have an established account with us, we will require proof of validity of the order (e.g. an official order or letter on your headed paper) and may require payment by proforma invoice before despatching the goods.

The secure server used by this site for transactions has 128 bit SSL Encryption with Firewall Protection. All credit numbers are encrypted when the order is placed and are only decrypted after they have reached the secure hosting computer. The system ahs Verisign Digital Certification and uses Verisign certificates. As an added precaution, credit card numbers are deleted from the hosting computer after thirty days.
